My official work in progress—Untitled Dragon Rider Project—is 10,444 words long thus far. My goal is to reach at least 100,000 words total to honor my fantasy author inspirations such as Jeff Wheeler, Michael R. Miller, and Christopher Paolini, so that’s exactly what I’ll do.
As of right now, I’ve finished chapter six and broken my protagonist’s heart (sorry, guys, you’ll have to wait to find out about that). But never fear, I’ve come bearing a synopsis. Magic and Moments and The Three Little Kittens won’t be alone for long. Untitled Dragon Rider Project will probably be published sometime in late 2026 or early 2027, but take that with a grain of salt. This book’s still in early stages of drafting.

“With your dying breath, protect the drakeling.”
Aspen Hills, Idaho, was the last place anyone would expect to find a dragon. Well… that was until Owen Ejgard found one. Deep in the heart of the Dragonwing Mountains lies more than just old tales and myths, and Owen is thrust into a kingdom ravaged by war. Hunted by a ruler bent on dragon-slaughter and driven by a promise, he seeks out the legendary stronghold of a fallen order. Will Owen and his newly hatched dragon survive against the forces of King Skard?
