Weak vs. Strong. I’m sure you all have heard of this before. And no, I’m not talking about the physical, but the spiritual. Let’s focus on the weak part right now. What does weakness mean? Well, there can be a lot of interpretations, but I think the best one is this one: weakness is a choice; it’s not who you are, or who you were born to be.

Weakness also isn’t failure; it’s giving up when you fail.

So don’t think for a moment that you’re weak because you waver when struggle hits you, or even if you fall completely to rock bottom. Are you striving to get back up and try again? If yes, then you are not weak. YOU ARE STRONG.

Now strength… what does that look like? Well, it certainly doesn’t look like Superman soaring through hard times without a single scratch.

No. It looks like Jesus and His ministry. Jesus struggled, and He had difficult times just like us. There were probably times when He felt like He was failing, because He was human like us. But He wasn’t weak because He never gave up, even when He knew He would die the most shameful and painful way. That is strength.

So next time you feel weak because you failed, or because you’re struggling, don’t be. If you get back up and try again, then you are strong.

May God bless you, reader! Until next time!
